Taos Amrouche and Le grain magique



Other than a magnificent singer, Taos Amrouche was also a remarkable story teller.

In 'The Magic Grain', Taos Amrouche gathered the folktales, poems and songs of her mother Marguerite Fatma Ait Mansour who herself had inherited them from the women of her family before her. This collection is an important contribution to the safeguard and understanding of Berber literature.

 
Dans "Le grain magique", Taos Amrouche a réuni des contes, poèmes et chansons de sa mère Marguerite Fatma Aït Mansour qui elle même les tenait de ses ascendantes. Une importante contribution à la litterature amazigh, à sa memoire et à sa sauvegarde.
